1. Who We Are

Limes is a workshop management platform for 3D printing businesses, operated by nocaps ventures. For legal details, see our Imprint.

2. What Data We Collect

  • Account data: Full name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
  • Workspace data: Shop name, address, and business information you provide.
  • Order data: Client names, email addresses, job descriptions, and uploaded files (STL/3MF).
  • Session cookies: A single HTTP-only session cookie to keep you logged in.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to:

  • Provide and operate the Limes platform.
  • Authenticate your account and maintain your session.
  • Process and manage orders on your behalf, including sending quotes to your clients.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

Limes relies on minimal third-party services to function:

  • HTMX: We load the HTMX JavaScript library from a public CDN to power our interactive UI.
  • Resend: We use Resend as our email infrastructure provider to send transactional emails (e.g., account verification, password resets, and print quotes). They only process the necessary email addresses for delivery and are prohibited from using this data for their own purposes.

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking scripts.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database. Uploaded files are stored on the server filesystem. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Session tokens are cryptographically random and transmitted via secure, HTTP-only cookies.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at marius@limes.solutions.

7. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform. Continued use of Limes after changes constitutes acceptance.
